Service Charge Information Document (SCID) for Shared Ownership
The service charge information document (SCID) template was developed in collaboration with housing providers and specialist service charge experts. The Shared Ownership Code introduces a requirement that providers must complete and present a SCID at point of sale. The SCID is intended to help prospective shared owners understand more about how services are provided, how they are charged for them, and about the potential for these charges to rise.
An editable version of this document will be available to organisations that adopt the Code, alongside an alignment checklist.
